About the programme

The West Midlands Resource Reuse Network (WMRRN) connects businesses across the region, enabling one company’s waste to become another’s valuable resource.

Delivered in partnership with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and International Synergies Ltd, the programme offers free, fully funded business support to help businesses:

Identify new markets for by-products
Overcome practical reuse challenges
Unlock measurable business benefits
Reduce both operational costs and carbon emissions

How the programme supports businesses

The programme supports businesses through a three step process:

Step 1 – Consult

We work with you to carry out an initial review of your organisation’s resource use and waste management processes

Step 2 – Assess

We identify opportunities to reuse resources in your business, and evaluate their potential to other businesses

Step 3 – Deliver

We support you in prioritising and implementing the most effective opportunities, helping you to become more resource efficient and cost effective
